Walk / Run Fundraiser
Our 2010 Walk / Run Fundraiser will be very close to matching our goal of $37,000.00. This goal is obtained by sponsorships, the sales of mile markers, team pledges, raffles, and other donations received outside local businesses. The chapter counts on this fundraiser that falls early in it's financial year to help provide meals, shelter, and financial vouchers for disaster victims. In addition to assisting disaster victims, the Red Cross also delivers mobile meals, offers life-saving & disaster response training, and blood and platelet drives.
We would like to say a special "Thank You" from all the staff and the board to everyone who volunteered and donated time, money, and items to make this event the success that it is every year. This event is one of our large fundraisers for the year that helps us help people in need!
